O.K. all, the question is NOT "to, or not to"  It's "where from"!  Already know the rig is getting them just lookin' for the best and cheapest place to get them from.  I know lots of y'all are already using them so ya probably have done quite a bit of collective searching for the best place..... fill me in, TIA!

The ones I had were Air Lift and got them from Camping World they worked great and never had a problem. If I had it to do over again I would pay them the 150 dollars to put them on. Not bad just took some time.

I assume you are going to install them yourself? I bet most shops who instal them also sell the air-bags and would charge more for the install if you don't buy from them?

I have had both Firestone Ride-rites and the Air-Lift brand. They are very similar, but I would give an ever so slight advantage to Ride-Rites in quality, but I would go with Air-lifts again too if I found them at a noticably better price.

I bought my most recent pair via the net from Summit Racing who carries both brands. Their prices were good (maybe not the best), and they are a reputable company, unlike some of the no-name internet stores I saw listing air-bags.

Good Luck

yeah, I was noticing that on a couple of web sites.  They specified one for all F250/F350 and one for gooseneck instalation.  What's up with that?  If you have a certain model gooseneck hitch you have to use the one special one so it won't hit or what?  Hate to order the wrong one.

There is different kits for the F350 . You will want to use the kit designed for the gooseneck . I had the air bags while I was using a heavy bumper pull . When I went with the B&W hitch and a gooseneck trailer I had lots of problems installing the hitch with the air bags in place . That is when I found out I should have used the air bag kit designed for use with the gooseneck hitch on the F350 .

Thanks for that info.  This particular rig is a F250 SuperDuty.  I've already got the gooseneck hitch installed as this is a rig we've had a while.  The way I figure is that it SHOULD be either part # FIP- 2071, or AIR-57215, depending on the company, any thoughts?

I got mine from suspensionconnection, $250 round numbers with free shipping.
NOTE: On GMs the frame and underguts IS DIFFERENT between the 1-ton duallie pick-up truck and the 1-ton duallie chassis/cab. I don't know if this is also true on Ford and Dodge, but be sure to specify which truck you have, pick-up OR chassis/cab.

http://www.riderite.com/installation_instructions/2330.pdf

This shows you the installation on the air springs for gooseneck and fifth wheel. It uses the hole in the frame between the hitch bolts. The universal fit one will fit in the wrong place as you need to drill holes.GET THE DO DRILL MODEL.

I installed Mine and took them off when I traded in.Now I see the different hitch won't let Me mount them on my new truck so....I made some new mounts and will mount them in between the gooseneck mount.

Here are some sites that offer more information on the different styles.

Thanks everyone for all the info. and tips.  I've got'er all figured out and will get a set ordered tomorrow before I leave.  I helped a buddy put a set on his Dodge a while ago, but of corse he already had them ordered and waiting on us, so I didn't realize all of the different options.  But after reading all these great posts, it's crystal clear, and I'm confident I've got the right ones!  Thanks again all,
