HELP. I am having trouble deciding between a 91 Keiferbuilt 3 Horse slant Bumperpull and a 90 something Logan competitor, 3 horse slant bumperpull. Both are oversized, which I need. Both have drop down feeders. The Keifer has butt windows and the Logan has removable plexi glass on butt side. I don't know which would be the better rated Trailer. I m trading a 99 Featherlite Stock/combo for which ever one I choose. Any input would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks

The 99 is a Stock trailer with tack room. I need the dividers in a slant load. I wish I could make the 99 work, it's a really nice trailer, but is not totally enclosed either. Thanks

I'd base the decision on condition of trailer and which has the most features that meet your needs. At that age, brand is probably less important than condition and maintenance vs price and what you will have to put into it if it needs any work or maintenance.

Thanks to all for your input. We chose the Kieferbuilt and so far like it. The post that said I needed to check the ramp on the Kieferbuilt. I did, but was not sure what I was looking for.

I think the ramps are made of plywood... Been known to have problems with them rotting and the horse stepping through... They are not the only mfg. that uses plywood on their ramps. When not in use, keep the ramps up, helps them drain/dry quicker and it takes the tension off the helper/assist springs.
