Sister and I are heading to Equine Affaire tomorrow (Saturday). Where exactly are you located? I have a question. Last year hubby and I bought a new GMC 3500 Crew Cab dually. I'll tell you this......whoever placed the order for that particular truck sure doesn't drive a dually or pull anything. It has the standard, regular side mirrors. They are almost not wide enough to see around the dually fender, let alone our 8-ft wide LQ gooseneck. This being our first dually and first gooseneck, we didn't think about the mirrors until we hooked up the rig. We have to use removable mirror extenders to have vision around the trailer. While we have always driven GM products, I have to admit Ford's mirrors are much better. They are vertical in nature, rather than the GM's horizontal. I like to see the rail of the truck bed and road at same time. Very difficult with what we have. Is there a product we could use to replace our mirrors that would also allow for extension when pulling the big rig? Here's the catch, hubby won't switch unless the new ones can be electric too. I don't know if that's even possible.

Hi Scheferneker (SP) makes the Ford Super Duty and Nissan Titan mirrors. You can buy those aftermarket. We're south and east of the main drag at the expo on the way to the Buckeye building were the horse trailers are. I'm next to the red Redman tobacco trailer.

Lots of events and booths for kids at the EA. Tomorrow is Craig Cameron's Cowboy Race. Pfizer Fantasia started tonight. My Cruz'n Cooler blew a tire, now I'm walking, Slime didn't do it. Come by and visit. We have a sky tower where you can watch the action.

Really nice to meet you! I really like all the gadgets you had on the trailer.  Too bad it was cold and rainy the last couple days.  Got to watch the Extreme Trailride competition and was really impressed with the horsemanship skills of those riders.  I was also shocked at how much Craig Cameron resembles George Strait close up.  The only difference is George has a scar under his chin and Craig doesn't!  They could pass for twins.

Thank you also for taking the time to talk to myself and my friend Jenn.  It was neat meeting the famous "Mr Truck".

Well thanks, it was great meeting you too. This forum has the best people. Did you mean that I looked like George Strait? Maybe his granddad. I'll load the last pictures tomorrow when I'm back in Colorado in front of my 4 screens and fast internet. I'll be glad to be back at 75 mph, not that I can afford to drive fast with $4.05 diesel.

The pictures are all up, next tour is at the Western States Horse Expo June 6-8 in Sacramento CA where the sun always shines. We'll have the new Bale Bucker on the trailer then, come see it work, it will be attached to the HayRak.
