I keep my trailer plugged in and the fridge on at home, and because its on all the time I only unload perishibles when I get home. I just started getting ready for the next trip and opened my fridge and it was a mess inside. I had left some grapes in it accidentally from my last show almost a month ago (I know...eiww!) but I still had a hard time believing they would have exploded grape juice all over the inside of the fridge. So I took everything else out - mostly beer and pop cans - and a can of Diet Pepsi had exploded. I think the fridge got too cold with so little in it and it froze the pop can and it exploded. The beer didn't freeze, I am guessing because of the alcohol. So lesson learned...adjust the fridge temp when you take alot of stuff out!

I came back from a long show and was tired, so I left some stuff in the fridge. I'll clean it out later, give it to the dogs. Well, later turned out to be a few weeks later ( I forgot about it) and even the dogs wouldn't touch the food. I try to clean out the trailer after a show but it does't get done right away. Now i dump perishable foods before i leave the show grounds....lesson learned here too.
