I have the Flojet Quiet Quad II on-demand water pump (model 4406)

It has worked flawlessly
We worked on the LQ this weekend and while replacing a light fixture, the wire arched a little, now the water pump doesn't work.  Everything else does.
It is getting power (switch is still good)

Anyone else have problems with these?  What did you do?  Any suggestions?
Is the repair kit worth it?  Or just shell out the $60 for a new one?

Have you checked to see if there is a circuit breaker on the pump?

I almost threw away a portable heater and on the way to the dumpster noticed a little red button on the back.  Took it back to the house, pluged it in, pushed the buttone and wala!  It worked.

Weelllll...it didn't have it's own fuse.  Does now.
No reset that I can see and the manual is maybe 4 pages, half of that is "do not use while snow skiing" type stuff.  LOL!

Nope.  I'll just replace it.

Hey ~ Do you know a gal named Ursa?
She used to live in Coarsegold and showed paints.

I replaced mine with a whisper king by sure-flow. Really nice pump.

Nope, I am an endurance rider....usually out riding the hills.....

Complete and total weirdness.
Been jacking with this darn water pump all week.  Checking the pump, checking the fuse, testing and jiggling the wires...

I just came back in from shutting the LQ windows, it's supposed to rain all week.  Got a wild notion to check the pump again - it came on like nothing ever happened!  ????

I'm not going to question it.  Praise the Lord!

Maybe the orginal spark burned a hole in the wire insulation somewhere and it was touching the trailer/grounding it and when you were "jiggling" it you moved it off the trailer.  At least you know the pump still works.
