Location: Little town in Pa		Our WFCO power converter in our RV has no DC output, checked all fuses and I just ordered a new converter. We use our LQ regularly and often for over 5 years. How long do these converters normally last?

Location: Penrose, Colorado		ours is 10 years old and stays plugged in most of the time and it still works OK.

Location: Little town in Pa		Paul,Yes, thanks, I checked all the DC fuses visually and even ohmed them out to confirm that they were good which they were. I did install new batteries lately but the converter was not working before the new batteries. I understand that if the batteries were installed backwards, these fuses would definitely blow which they did not. WFCO website has a good flow chart which I followed to determine that the converter was bad. I was just wondering what is the normal life expectancy of a converter and if there is anything that chews them up like running on a small generator ?

Location: Little town in Pa		FYI, I replaced the converter and every thing is working fine now. Batteries charge up as they should.
