The trailer: 1998 Featherlite 2-horse BP, weighing 2350lbs. Pulling one 1100lb horse plus hay and grain... though option to pull 2 would be nice

I would add "trailer brake" controller.  We did this for several years, but not in the mountains and give yourself PLENTY of time to STOP-especially if you are hauling 2

Don't know where you got those engine HP and TQ numbers but they are way off base... That's the numbers for a 2001 Lightning SVT.

Should read... 2-valve SOHC, 5.4 liter, 260 hp and 350 lb·ft ratings for 1999 and later model years

If he inflated the horsepower that much...one wonders if he deflated the mileage the same percentage...

Actually kelley blue book says the same as the ad:

Did I miss on the specs a "trailer towing package"  with transmission cooler etc?  What gear ratio is the rear end?
