A friend of mine looked at a trailer there just a few weeks ago. They were told by a sales women they were shutting down like that day. The name may be associated with Sparks Trailer today. However "Uncle Bobs" got locked up. Many of the trailers in their inventory were picked up by dealers and floorplanners. Its hard to get the truth as who the owners are, Big R was also assocaiated with Uncle Bobs. I think this is now the 3rd or 4th owner in the past few years?

they had a dealership in Piedmont, SD also and on President's weekend of this year that one was closed also. Said they had taken all the trailers to ND. It is no wonder, we looked at a trailer at Piedmont in 2008 and the salesman was just rude. We were serious about getting a different trailer and he just acted like it was no big deal. We walked out of there saying they lost any business of ours. You don't treat customers like he did, even at that time we were just lookings and checking our options. Glad we didn't go with them, ended up getting a Cherokee Superchief and we love it!

We bought a new trailer from the ND site in '08. Julie was more than cordial and went out of her way. I think she was the sales manager. We ordered another saddle rack and a few more minor things to add after the sale, and didn't charge us for shipping and "cost" on the additions. Price wise, the "in stock" trailer we bought was way less than ordering it from the 3 other dealers (same exact trailer) we priced in the great plains region. It was a cash, no trade deal, so maybe that had something to do with it. I noticed that their web and published prices seemed high, but we got them down a bunch when we showed up with cash. Only thing I complained about was the $150 "doc fee" that they charged...
