LOL!! You got me there, need more info please....

What length would you like...?!!

How long/big is the trailer?

Straight, slant, head 2 head ??

Where's the spigot that the hose will be attached?

Gravity fed or pressurized?

etc. etc. etc....

The longest one you can store in your trailer, 75 - 100'. If you only water from your trailer, one that will reach all its sides from your spigot.

At shows we use a 25' hose that curls up for storage. It works well at the public areas where the horses are bathed, and attaches to standard spigots. Along with the grooming aids, it fits easily into a small carry on bag.

I agree with the 100' -  you never know.

What we have is 2 50' - and then a short hose about 10' for the ones we can get really close to.

I have 4 or 5 drinking water hoses that I tote around. I think they are each 25ft in length. I have had times when I have used all of them but mostly just need one or two depending on where the spigot is located in relation to your fresh water connection. I keep a separate coiled hose for washing the horses, etc. I hate the coiled hoses but they store nicely in the trailer so I deal with it.

yeah what they said.............also keep a spare CHEAP 50' around if you have to use at your stalls.  Reason being cheap is that someone will A.  Borrow it and forget to bring it back  B. Horses with shoes step on hoses and they generally do not last long then have pin holes in them.

We bring spring water and 200' of regular hose.  I am slightly compulsive and actually have a portable hose reel I carry 100' on for quick hook up and wrap up.  the other 100' is stored in the bed of the truck.  Id bring more but I feel my wife would step in and stop me ;)

As much hose as you can carry. Nothing like having to haul water 30 more yards to water 4 mules in 100* heat!

I personally would just carry the bucket to the tank and fill. So I would want a short hose. Less to mess with and store.

I would suggest you get a couple different lengths. From short to long. And get in a habit of pouring a "tad" of bleach into the hose before using it. Pour bleach, let the water run through it ...before hooking it up to your rig.
