We were at the James B. Hunt Horse Complex in Raleigh yesterday and the folks are moving in for the Raleigh Lions Club Horse Show.

51st North Carolina State Championship Horse Show September 17th - September 20th

Equinophiles (horse lovers), come out and enjoy the NC State Championship Horse Show. Great for the entire family. The show includes multiple classes of beautiful horses and riders. This will be the 51st year that the show has been presented. The show takes place at the Gov. Hunt Horse Complex/Arena on the NC State Fairgorunds (off Trinity Rd. in Raleigh). Dates for the show are September 17-20, 2008. There are daytime and evening sessions. Daytime sessions begin at 10am and evening sessions begin at 6pm. On Friday and Saturday nights we will have free face painting and pony rides for the kids. There will be games of skill for prizes, food, drink and vendors of specialty items. Tickets are $10; children 8 and under are free. Tickets can be purchased in advance or at the door. For more information or to purchase tickets, contact Bill Whitley at 919-481-4675 or Michael Youth at 919-954-7649.

Anyway, sitting across, blocking half of a driveway was a...Powerhorse, brand trailer.... Extruded aluminum sides, with stainless wrapped all around front to rear. No rear doors,  one side ramp on the curb side, walk in door on street side, 4' tack room up front. Looked to be a head to head, loaded with road horses/ponies, three bikes loaded on the roof.... Never seen a Powerhorse brand of trailer.... Have you?

I'm trying to think of what other brand of trailer it reminded me of. Merhow maybe? It was 8' wide, 8' tall and maybe 30' on the floor. I didn't get close enough to see if it was all aluminum or a steel frame, stainless skin, with 4' high aluminum extrusions..... Hybrid.
