The 12v system only works when plugged in to 120v. If you turn off main battery switch, all electric drops out. Replaced battery and converter. Help please and thank you!

Did you or someone else replace the battery & converter?

Do you know how to use a voltmeter or test light ?

Trailer belongs to a friend. They replaced the converter and battery. Yes, I do have a volt meter. I can't find any reason for this to happen. When you turn off main battery switch 12v and 120v drops out. The electric jack works fine.
