I have a 2000 2-Horse Valley Stock trailer, gooseneck, with a 4' dressing room, bought used. It currently has Bias-ply 7.00-15LT tires on it. Trailer hasn't been used much, but want to replace the tires just due to their age. Discount Tire tells me there are no radial trailer tires that match up to that size, and suggested going back with Carlisle/Carlstar bias-plys. Anyone have any experience with this? I would think the radials would ride better. Thoughts? Options? Thank you!!!

Well, I thought it would be easy to find an OD of a 7.00-15 tire. I certainly sold a lot of them over the decades. But without a lot of downloads that I wouldn't do, I couldn't. But I'd bet a decent lunch, that a ST225/75R15 will be a close match, you'll like. Load Range D or E either will be fine. That's what we'dinstall at our dealership.

Radial Tires are always going to be better, but you need the correct weight rating. In my opinon 15 inch tires are poor trailer tires. I would much rather upgrade to a 16 wheel and find something in the 29 inch diameter with an LT tire and you will be much better served in the long run.
