I'll be pulling my trailer through here soon and was wondering if anyone knows if it is allowed to pull through this tunnel? It's a 3horse 10' LQ w/midtack. I think it's 28' on the floor. Wasn't sure if there is a limit on length. Thanks for any info!!

I am pretty sure I have pulled a trailer through there at least twice. I took I-10 from Florida to Houston, TX with a 29 ft. horse trailer and I remember a tunnel in Alabama. You can always call the Highway Patrol of any state and get that kind of info.

If you are traveling further west of Alabama, beware of the condition of I-10. There are parts between LA and TX that are so bad you can only go about 40mph. Make sure all the stuff in your trailer is tied down, locked closed and buckled tight. If someone is not buckled in the truck cab, they will bounce hard in their seats. I'm not exaggerating It's bad.

Oh yeah, you can go through it, but if you feel creeped out about doing it, there is a by-pass  you can take

Thanks everyone! I'm only going from Florida to Mississippi to a Sundowner dealer to do some warranty work. Glad I don't have to go as far as Texas! Sounds like no fun at all.Paul - We have 2 propane tanks on the trailer. Is that what you were referring to? Or did you mean the big propane tankers?

Campers and the like that have propane bottles are usually excluded from going through tunnels.
