I recently ordered a new trailer that will be completed around the end of April. I will be trading in my current trailer with already insulated dressing room. I plan to have a small local company do some finishing work (insulation, paneling and some built in cupboards) but they cannot get me in until fall, so I have a complete summer of camping and riding season first. I insulated my current trailer with mylar double bubble. I don't want to do that much work, when I plan to have someone else do this professionally. But I need to be able to sleep in there this summer.

I am contemplating ceramic bead insulating paint as an easy way to do this that won't affect future finishing work. Has anyone here tried this? Does it insulate well enough to stop condensation?

I've gone back-n-forth on whether to use insulating paint too. Terri S did it last year (I think) and was pleased. You could msg her about how she feels now. Let me know so I can decide too!

I did my trailer, would likely do it again. Is it cool in summer now? No, but it is COOLER and it doesn't get condensation like it used to. I think if I installed a fantastic fan or something similar I would be quite comfortable. Considering it cost me about $25 to do my trailer, it was a good investment. It is also tons brighter in there.

I took so much heat on this (no pun intended) that I hesitate to admit to it! :)

Terri S - I never gave you 'heat' though! I admire your ability to try something new and let us chickens know how it went.
