2000 KB 3 horse LQ.  It has an 8 ft. shortwall.  Micro, Pioneer CD in/out speakers, 3.0 cubic fridge, small bathroom with shower and toilet. Cabinets in bathroom.  Standard LQ for a Genesis X-340 KB.  Dinette as well.  2 hanging closets.

I am curious what you all think it would be worth.

THanks

Condition is more important than age.  If the horse area has been neglected it may be only scrap value unless you find an unwary buyer.

I totally agree with hosspuller.  If a 6 or 7 year old trailer was taken care of, then someone is going to get a GREAT deal on a GREAT trailer.  On the other hand, if the trailer was neglected, then... lookout.  This rule of thumb can be applied to ANY BRAND!

So what constitutes taking care of the HOrse area?  Upkeep?

I have just recently found that taking care of an aluminum horse area is totally different that a wood floor.  The aluminum needs to be rinsed under the mats far more than a wood floor.  The urine can cause erosion at warp speed.  My wood floor trailer has kept up far better than the aluminum.  Aluminum should have the mats removed and the floor cleaned at least once a month where the wood isn't necessary as often.  I clean my trailer out after every use.  When I pulled all the bedding out I would hose it down, along the sides as well.  I didn't lift mats and it started erosion rather quickly.

Basically Maintenance and Repair!

Maint= Keep Alum. floors clean & dry.  Alum. is not going to rust, like steel, but it is not the "saving grace" of horse trailer flooring either.  Take care of your floor and your floor with take care of your horses.

Repair= Fix areas that horses damage.  Neglect of damaged areas will only promote more damage.

What did I leave out?

Back to your original question:

If the trailer (all components) is in good shape, I would think around $24,000.  It depends on what side of the country your are on.  To me, prices on the East coast are alot more than the West coast.  Also remember, costs of new Alum. trailers has really gone up in the last year.
