I am interested in a trailer that is 32' box length with 14.5 shortwall LQ. Currently pull 11' shortwall now with no problems or regrets. Any comments? Both would be 4 horse trailers 7.6" tall, with hayracks, normally not more than 3 horses (98% of the time).

It all depends on what the trailer weighs.  You can't go by size.  LQ's can really vary in weight, depending on what is in it and the materials that are used.  Holding tank size and appliance sizes matter too.  I used to pull my 12' LQ, 3' mid tack, 3H with an F350.  It pulled it ok but I was at the top of the legal weight limit and my truck struggled up some of our PA "hills" from a dead stop.  Rather than beat the truck, I traded for an F450.  What an unbelievable difference!

What she said.

If you like tile and marble...
If you want/need 100 gallons of fresh water so you can be off in the woods...
If you (and others) "need" hot showers...
If you want to carry 1/2 ton of ice around.
Generator ?

Hotels/motels could be a better solution, keep the horse trailer for the horses, the people_tels for the people etc.

Personally I like BBB&Bs, bed, breakfast, barn & bale.

We would probably get another LQ from Outlaw or TMP. It would be Oak cabinets with 60 gal water tank in LQ. I always empty the holding tanks after each trip so there is rarely anything in them. My current trailer weighs 10500 with 11' shortwall. Its only 7' tall. I am going to 7'6" since I am 6'4".

Horse hotels dont work well for us. We hit a couple of rodeos a weekend.

Outlaw makes a fantastic LQ but they are heavy.  I am not familiar with TMP.  Ask the LQ company to give you the weight specs from your trailer and add that to the GVW of the trailer.  THen figure in all of the other weight, allowing a bit extra.  See if it is a legal weight to haul with your truck.  If it is anywhere near close, I'd would either get an F450 or a smaller trailer.  BTW, you are going 8' wide aren't you?  You wouldn't believe what a difference 6" of extra floor space will make!

Most definately on 8 wide. Its a must. I haul several different size horses without problems and the room inside is great.
