I get a digital issue of Horse & Rider magazine monthly, and this month’s issue had an article about general trailer care, how to pack a trailer, etc.

A statement in the article said that drop down windows are not intended to be dropped when the trailer is in motion. It mentions that drop down windows are only meant to be down when the trailer is stationary, and that having them down during travel can actually cause damage to the windows.

I’ve owned trailers with drop down windows for over 20 years and have always traveled with the windows dropped, jail bars up and screens in place on the jail bars.

Any opinions on this, especially from dealers???
