I have a 2005 LQ with the huge Winegard tv thing that doesn't work.  Have an upcoming 2 week trip from Oregon to Texas and back coming up and am looking for suggestions for a portable antenna to get local stations when we're parked.  I'm not willing to pay $300 for hopper or tailgater for just a twe week trip.  Thanks.

Using one of these on the trailer :

https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B01N5KL14K/ref=dp_cerb_2?th=1&psc=1

Works pretty good with great range, and aero so it travels well.

Added another to the barn/shop since they work so good.

The booster does need to be plugged in. Running it and tv on an inverter in the trailer.

You can also contact your local guide for help. As they have good knowledge of the TV station where the signal can directly catch up.
I agree wireless antenna is quite better in every manner.
