Subject: A little shelf over the door in my LQ

I recently purchased a 2005 Featherlite 4H w LQ. And I noticed a shelf over the door... it’s about 12-14” long, what is it for? Someone suggested keys but I’d need a ladder to get my keys. Any ideas?
