I acquired a 2004 aluminum 3 horse trailer. The lunde lift box where you push button to raise the or lower trailer. well it will lower but when I hit to raise, it just makes a noise. My husband thinks it s a cylinoid, but where.

Will lower but will not raise. Frustrated

Verify appropriate battery voltage. Verify that all wires are attached appropriately. Verify proper function of the switchgear.

After checking the battery voltage, remove and mechanically clean all the battery terminals. Coat each one with a dab of dielectric grease  before reattaching. You can sometimes read the proper voltage through a contaminated teminal, but might not be able to pull the amps necessary for running a heavy draw unit., such as a hydro pump.
