Just wondered if anyone knows much about Cherokee trailers. I am thinking of a 16 foot gooseneck. Are they a high end, low end or middle of the road trailer and value. How do they hold up? I will carry about 4 head of cattle to shows etc so its going to see limited use. Any thoughts will be helpful.

Thank you.

If I were looking for an all aluminum stock trailer, I would look at EBY or WILSON stock trailers for cattle....

Thank you for your reply. I assume that you feel the Cherokee trailer is not heavy enough for cattle and that is why you suggest the other two makes. What trailers are good for cattle or does it make much difference?

Love the Elite cattle trailers. Somebody else must too because I see several at the shows.

I owned a Cherokee 3 horse slant aluminum and it was awesome. Look up their website and take a look at their flooring. The thing is all aluminum I beam. No aluminum sheet to rot out. I have owned several different brands of aluminum trailers and that Cherokee was a really good one. Four head of cattle shouldn't weigh over 6K so I don't see why that Cherokee wouldn't work. Again, their floors are like nothing else I have ever seen.

Thanks to all who replied and have helped out. I have looked at Featherlite as well but in the same price range they have wood floors. This adds weight but should not change much else I dont think. The Eby and Wilson trailers are more money. Does this mean they are better trailers or are they just asking what the market wil pay?
