No but I did my backsplash. Siliconed it on and then used flexible grout. I would be concerned about the added wieght of tile in a shower. It could ad a few hundred pounds easily plus the durock that you would attach it to.

Tile is too heavy, and there is too much movement in a trailer. There is just no way to keep the tile and grout from cracking. I used linoleum that matched the stuff on my floor, looked just like cut stone. I used contact cement to adhere the linoleum to plywood walls. I was told that this approach would not work, but it still looks new after four years.

We installed granite tiles in a newly constructed LQ a couple of years ago, using polyurethane construction adhesive. We also used the latex additive for the grout. No cracking of the grout has been yet noticed.

I know of one trailer owner that did this over a fiberglass shower enclosure. He pulled the shell and reinstalled it firmly, by using the poly adhesive. He then rough sanded the fiberglass and glued the tile directly to the fiberglass. It has worked well.
