I was reading a article about Easy Walker Horse Shoes. I was just wondering if anyone has or are using them or have any experience with them. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Are these the new ones by Easy Boot? Haven't used those but have used Old Mac's for years and really like them. I live in an area where we have lots of lava rocks and rocky trails in the mountains and they are great. I will never use steel shoes again on the horses I have now. They save me a lot of money also.

Thank you for all the input on the Easywalkers. I have notice that different people have mention the Old Mac's. I did go on there Web site and saw that they provide different models of boots, Now I'm confused! Which boot would work for my situration ? My mare is somewhat flat footed, tender soles and needs to be shod if I ride her on roads, Gravel or rocks. I do do a lot of trail riding with her. Any more information would be very helpful. I did get there Pee-QWee bit and it really work's great for her and any other horse that I used it on, Thought I would mention that since There the ones that introduced it.

Will look up the Easy walker shoes as I am not familar with them. When we have a tender footed horse that needs extra protection, we add a thin plastic pad with a leather pine tar combination hoof packing under the shoes.
Have also used Happy Jack Pad Kote quite successfully to help tender soles.

I used Easy Walker Horse Shoes this past summer. They are a nail on
plastic horseshoe. They are not hoof boots. My choice in hoof boots
are Easy Boot Bares and Renagades.

My experience with plastic shoes was that they flex which allows the nails to move, which wears holes in the hoof wall. I had to reset the shoes more frequently than steel shoes because of the nail holes.
did you find that the Easywalker shoes stayed in place and did not wear the hoof wall around the nails?

I used Easy Walker shoes for two summers on the front feet. My experience is that they wear about the same as aluminum shoes--maybe just a little bit better. I did notice the nail holes working loose more than steel
or aluminum shoes. They provided good enough traction. They were better
then the Ground Master which collected rocks under the toe to heel plastic
bar down the center of the shoe.
