40 sound mares were sold to slaughter by well known reproductive veterinarian a couple of days ago in Weatherford, Texas. What do ya'll think ?

Yes, I saw this but only because I looked at the kill buyers page on facecook and found a mare I'd owned 15 years ago...She's in quarantine and when she's done she'll be coming home for good. She has the Arnold brand on her shoulder and the registry can only track her so far...don't know how or why she ended up there but I'm glad she's coming home at the ripe old age of 26.
