Would like some info on the campground and trails at West Point Horse Camp at Eisenhower State Park in Kansas. Level sites, what are the trails like, marked well, etc? Been checking out the local trails and camps within a couple hours of our home since Diesel fuel is hitting us hard like everyone else.
Are the pens behind each site and how many per site? Important info for me since I'm taking two horses that are not pasture mates. Now lets hope that it doesn't rain another 3-5" in one evening! It's just now beginning to dry out.

Hi Tammy,isItes are level, but no shade for horses in the pens. One pen per site, and they don't allow portable electric pens. The pens are pretty small for 2 horses. Trails are mostly open pastures, views of the lake, and marked fair. The map they have is pretty decent. The little town of Lyndon which is nearby has a good pizza place, don't let the name put you off! LOL
