I have a GMC 3500 crew cab long bed truck, 6.6 L engine. I recently purchased a fastpaq programmer which has improved power and fuel mileage tremendously. I am looking at purchasing a much bigger trailer, empty weight of 11500 lbs and GVWR of 26000 lbs. Does anyone know if this truck can handle this load? Or where I can get this info?

Not enough truck. You need a class 6 or 7 truck to tow 26,000 lbs.

That ain't gonna work too good!! You're about loaded with an empty trailer. Our trailer weighs 10,000# empty, never weighed it loaded, but I'm pretty sure I'm over 23,000 GCVW when we leave for a show.
What kind of trailer you getting with a GVWR of 26000#? Must be a big LQ type deal!!

Looking at a 4 horse with 16' LQ that has a 12' glide. It's a big trailer - 9 feet longer than what I'm pulling now. Hate the idea of having to trade trucks but I need more trailer to haul four horses and six people to every show. Any recommendations on trucks?

GMC 4500 geared down or a mini freightliner. I have pretty much the same trailer. My 4500 pulls it great and handles the weight perfectly. Ride stinks though.
