Anyone have other ideas on the drainage of a shower rather than a pee trap. Will a one way valve work? I didn't want to raise shower up 10" to fit trap. Thanks

I dont think you would need to put in a raised floor that high. A 1-1/2 trap should only require about 5" or so. I would not recommend anything other than a trap because when water is flowing into your tank, air will want to vent out. Even with your vent from the tank to the trailer roof, some air will vent back into your shower stall. This air wont smell good!

Our LQ shower drains are plumbed into the gray water tanks along with the sinks. Only our toilets use the black water tanks, so any smell from the gray tanks should be minimal. Even so, our sinks all have traps, don't know about the showers.
We had a truck camper with a small gray tank that would quickly fill and overflow. While messy, it never smelled. I don't think it had any trap or valve. If a small one way valve would fit, I would think it would work. The only time it's open is when water flows out of the shower while it is being used.
