Well, she has mastered getting in and out of it, anyway. =] My wife and I installed a new floor over the weekend, and Tisha has been feeding her in it the last few evenings. We have yet to actually take her anywhere in it yet, though. Does anyone has suggestions regarding her first trip? We were thinking that the first ride needed to be fairly short and to someplace she likes and is familiar with, so we were planning to just take her up to the neighbor's, where she likes to go visit anyway. TIA for any recommendations!

Take a trip to your local fastfood place...pickup some drive thru...and take her back home...

That's what I did.  Just load her up and take her around the block a couple of times, then back home.  Of course, if you're in the country, it's to town and back.  Then the next time I take mine out late at night to the mall when I can have the parking lot to myself and practice backing up and going around curbs, etc.  They get a little taste of some of the stops and starts and bumps.  You have plenty of lighting and don't have to worry about meeting other vehicles, etc.  Of course, that's was especially helpful for me because I hadn't hauled a horse since 1982 and had upgraded from a tag-along to a GN.
