Anyone know of any?

My horse and I are bored....we love to work cattle, except i can't seem to find any shows that don't require your first born for an entry fee, or are only out west! I'm also looking for local horse clubs and others in groups who trail ride ect.

Where in Ohio are you? We're in Northwest Ohio and have quite a few of us who travel together for trail rides and camping.

I live east of Cincinnati....about 25-30 miles. Close to East Fork. I used to board my horse over there, the camp ground is okay...lots of skunks, but the trails aren't maintained very well and it seems like they are never dry, and some are real narrow.

How far NW are you?

We're just south of Toledo. We were at East Fork last Labor Day. We've camped and ridden at Van Buren State Park and Tri Co Trail Assoc (Starke County) in Ohio and Waterloo Recreational Area in MI. We're headed to Silver Creek (Allegan Co. MI) in a couple of weeks, Hell Creek, MI, over Labor Day and our tradition, Brown County, IN, for Thanksgiving.

Ohio Horsemans Council is a nice resource. I'm a member of two county chapters. They have a great website.

Heidi, I actually live in Sylvania Township, which is a western suburb of Toledo. The group I travel with is from Napoleon.
