This is a continuation of yesterday when the awning blew open while going down the road. I made it home with about 2 ft. of awning material flapping around. Tonite when I came home from work I released the straps on the arms, flipped the lever to open.. and.. nothing. I can't get it to go in or out. part of the problem is it snapped closed so violently yesterday the little tab thingy to hook into to pull the awning out is rolled up somewhere in the mess of material. I don't want to force it open and had figured it would just unroll once the lever was flipped to open and the arms were unlocked.

We have had that problem before. We have been able to flip the lever to unroll it and then get on each arm and pull it out. This has allowed it to roll out and give enough room to find the hook that got stuck up in the fabric. Once we unrolled it all the way, it rolled back up with no trouble. Sometimes you have to pull hard on those arms to make it unroll. Hope this helps.
