Hi!
I am looking at a 3 horse gooseneck Travalong horse trailer. It is a 2000 steel model. I would like to know if anyone has opinions/experiences with Travalong. It is not a company I am familiar with. It is a lower price trailer, but that would work well for me because I don't know how much I will use it and do not care to invest a lot if it doesn't see much use. Any opinions would be appreciated!

Thanks for the quick reply. You seem to be very knowledgeable based on reading I have done on this forum. Is there anything special I should be aware of before purchasing this trailer. I can use all the help I can get.

I have pulled several Travalongs and have been very happy with how they pull. I have used a 3 horse with a small LQ and a 4 horse stock combo. Never had any problems with them. Very solidly built. They are built here in Kansas so we see a bunch of them around. Better Built Trailers in Grainfield, KS is a dealer for them.

Thanks, but,I've never personally owned one,so, don't feel I can say very many specifics other than my friends really like theirs, and from looking at it,and the use it has been put through,I think I would love to have one for a solid steel stock-type trailer, although I think they make several different types including a LQ.
