I am trying to install a battery in my trailer so as to run the lights when not connected to my truck. With this set up I would like to have my truck charge the battery while driving. I have a A/C running to a junction box for generator use but no current power to the trailer load and interior lights. My question is how do I do this and where to purchase an aluminum battery box. thanks

The box is easy, the wiring is different depending on the trailer/truck, you will need to tie the battery into the the acc. wire in the trailer, depending on your plug, 6 pin or 7 pin it could be in different places. You could take a volt meter and determine the right wire, shouldn't be a great big job.
Another forum member made a battery box with a diamond plate aluminum toolbox turned on its side, with the bottom attached to the trailer front outside wall. The lid opened out like a small shelf. Looked pretty good to me.

Thanks for the responses. For further clarification, 06 chevy 2500 with 7 pin and a 05 silverstar with 7 pin. Do I need to add an inverter along the line?

Do you mean an isolator for the breakaway battery? An inverter will change 12v to 120v or vice versa. It's my understanding that you usually don't need an isolator between the two batteries, but I don't know enough about it to be sure so wait for a more knowledgable answer.

If you have a dedicated battery in the trailer, you do not need the B+ feed from the truck. You can use it to charge your trailer battery, but a better set up is a charger off your 110 v circuit. That way your trailer is self contained power wise. Either way will work, I just like having my truck powering its own equipment and not a third battery.
