I am trying to make up a budget to relocate a horse from Omaha Nebraska to Clearfield Pennsylvania. I have examined buying a trailer, renting and now I am just trying to get an approximation as to what it may cost to have someone trailer the horse for me.Any and all ideas are appreciated. Thank you.

Hi,
If you are flexable in your shipping dates and do not mine your horse being shipped with other horses, it should cost $ .75 to $ 1.00 per mile. However if you want your horse shipped by itself or just one or two other horses plan on $1.25 to $ 1.50 per mile.

You can also get bids on uship.com. We had an empty 4H GN hauled from Ohio to Wyoming for $1300. The quotes were all over the place, from over $3000 to $1300! It was crazy!
