My trailer is only a couple years old and has algae growing on top. How do I get it off and keep it off?

Use it more. LOL

About all I can think of is what you've probably thought of. Wash it regularly and wax occasionally. Anything I can think of that would keep Algae off, probably wouldn't be good for the finish on your trailer.

BLEACH!!!, that will kill the green cooties, then wash with some "simple green" cleaner ( can be found at "LOWES HOME IMPROVEMENT") and if it's a painted surface, wax it and keep it out from underneath the trees. That green crap won't grow out in direct sunlight.

That's the thing - it's in direct sunlight all the time. There is no shade at all where it's parked.

I'm going to get a breathable cover for winter and hope that helps after I bleach it and do the simple green thing.
Thanks for the tip!

I hope it all comes off.

Well I used the bleach and simple green. It came off pretty well. There were tiny spots that had rust. :( But for the most part it came pretty clean and sparkly on top! Thanks
