Has anyone had any experience taking hail dents out of an aluminum horse trailer roof? Have a trailer with some dents in it after a hail storm. They are cosmetic only, no leaks, but would like them removed without putting a new roof on the trailer. Was wondering if the paintless dent removal used in the auto repair industry would work? Looking for anyone else who has had similar experiences.

I have a similar experience as far as the hail damaged roof. I, too, would be interested in knowing about the paintless dent removal and if it works. I have had dry ice suggested to me by a former insurance agent. Don't know if it works or not because nowhere around here to get dry ice. Don't guess it would hurt though. The theory is the metal gets so cold that when it warms up the dent pops out.

Our local wally world sells dry ice. They don't advertise it but it's available for sale in the front portion of the store close to where they keep the regular bagged ice.

Our local Meijer's has the dry ice, too.  Let us know if you try the dry ice as I have dent in my trailer I would like pulled out, not sure how it got there, but would like it gone.
