Just got a new LQ with generator in the second manger. Spent a night at the trainers barn with AC running off the generator; the next morning the first manger reeked of gas. The fuel tank and the line to fill the tank, the fuel filter and the gasline to the generator are all in the first manger. Took it back to the dealer who plans on putting a vent in the first manger.
How dangerous is this, will venting be sufficient? Do any of your trailers with generators in manger have gas fumes? (I really don't want to be a mini TWA with a fuel tank explosion!

When the generator is running, check for a fuel leak. My generator had a small leak at one of the clamps. Not enough to make a puddle, but you could definately smell the gas when it was runing.

Thanks for the suggestion. Its going back to the dealer since its two days old. For now its parked next to the barn with no power and nothing to start a spark!
