While I was at Lowes today looking for peel and seal again and for wiring products I went down the low voltage outdoor lighting aisle.
Does anyone know if the 12 volt outdoor lightling will work in your living quarters. If so there are some pretty nice looking wall mount fixtures there.
I guess I could get one and go outside to the truck and see firsthand if they work.

Should work just fine.
I agree... Be careful of heat from the lamps. Don't allow anything, curtains, clothes, etc to contact them or cover them. They were designed to be outdoors where the heat readily dissipates.

Yep, heat could be a problem. If it was me I would be looking at LED lights. They don't really give off as nice quality light but they will last basically forever, they don't make heat, and they use very little power.
