Can anyone tell me where I might be able to find the mesh covers for drop down windows? I don't know what else to call them and so far, I haven't been successful with my searching. Anyone have experience using these? I like to give my guys all the ventilation I can when it's hot like it is (record temps in the pacific NW the last couple of days) but I always worry about stuff getting in their eyes. This seems like it'd be a nice way to go. If you have ordered them, any hints about sizing would be appreciated. What about installation? Thanks!

The only thing I would suggest is getting the type with a zipper in the middle. That way you can reach in and feed or untie (if you tie) your horse withour having to undo the velcro. Mine came with my trailer so I don't know where they were purchased.

I bought mine at Smith Brothers, the had the best price on Prof Choice. I choose not to go with the zippers, these velcro in the 4 corners. I went to the boat store and bought aluminium bars that were about 1 1/2" long stood out about 1/4-1/2" , screwed these into the trailer. The screens if not made custom can be a little too small (then thing can hit them) or a litle too large. My mare would undo a lower corner and Freebird down the interstate. Well, I fixed that, by extending the velcro the sticky on hooks to, I added a couple of inches of more velcro. Problem solved. Very easy to reach up from outside and undo to water and/or rest your horses. Good Luck my work great now!

I though about just fly masks but also worried about things like tossed cigarette butts flying in through the bars. I have screens on my windows - they attach with strong velcro loops to little brackets I screwed in with self tapping screws. Works like a charm.
