I am looking into buying a 1997 Featherlite. The dealer just "informed" me that they had to do some overlayment to repair some corrosion. Will the floor be as good as new, or is it just a bandaid. Will the trailer be structurally sound?

Tough question-there are a lot of variables here. How bad is the corrosion? How widespread? Are they getting rid of it or covering it up hoping it won't spread? Is it just the floor surface or is it structural? I'd be very careful here.

Heres what the dealer said and a pic. From what I understand, its just surface.....Attached is a picture of the floor corrosion. As you can see there are a >few holes, but it is mostly surface and on the butt side of the slants. We >will cover the horse area with .125" aluminum floor sheeting - basically >doubling the floor. The sheets are fastened by a combination of welds and >rivets.
