Well it starts Friday. It's nice here in Sacramento. Palm trees and all. I've met California's finest and all three we're lady officiers. Colorado, all speed limit's on open interstate is 75 mph, headed across Wyoming, yep 75 mph, through Utah cruising 75, no need for a radar detector. Nevada once again 75 all vehicles. Then there's California. Just down the road from Reno, driving through beautiful mountains, along lakes, great scenery, then the road falls apart from all the tire chains in the winter, and after I stop shaking and bouncing and hit a smooth stretch of highway, I see a read light following me. It's CHIPS. Of course I explain I'm from Colorado and thought the national speed limit was 75, why would any state make "auto's towing trailers" go 55 mph? She had mercy on me with a warning. My next encounter reinforces my love of female law enforcement. Since my MapQuest said to turn left unstead of right to get on Capital Freeway, I was wondering around Sacramento after dark lost and scared. So I spot two police cruisers in a resturant parking lot. Having pitty on me once again, the two gutsy girls gave me a police escort out of Dodge, I mean to the Cal Expo exit. I may have to move to California, once they change the speed limit to 75.

I'll have to remember that one so when we go to San Diego in Aug MAYBE my husband won't get a speeding ticket.

Alot going on at the Expo. Toyota has a track to tow a trailer with the new Tundra. Lots of clinicians, several donkey packing demonstrations. My laptop crashed the day I left Colorado, bought a new one on the road but forgot to bring my webpage editor to reload. So I havn't been able to post the pictures yet. Haven't ran over anyone with the Crusin Cooler yet. Meeting lots of folks. There are more tractors, barns and Freightliners than I've seen at most expo's. Big selection of trailers.

My oldest daughter flys to Africa tomorrow. Just graduated last week, that's not the first place I thought of 30 years ago when I graduated from high school. So now you know, yep I graduated HS for those that thought the 3rd grade was my high point. Still trying to decide if I should go to collage. Suppose I'll have to make my mind up before my granddaughters enroll. Come visit me, all the red trailers are in my area. I'll be setting up cones and barrel racing with the Cooler.

Yeah and the uniform and the gun and the horse, oh but that was Minnesota. Of course with a 55 mph speed limit. Horses might work, I'd pull over for a horse with flashing lights.

Hi Mr. Truck; It was great meeting you at the Expo, and seeing all of the cool gadgets to make horse trailering even more fun (auto saddle racks, auto hay loader!). Thanks for all the info about trailer floor liners, too.  Forgot to ask if you had anything cold to drink in the Crusin' Cooler, but that was too funny seeing you ride around on that thing!

Until next Expo...

Debbie

Good meeting you Debbie, my next stop is the Paint show in Ft. Worth the end of this month. Back home now, so I can load pictures.

HorseTrailerWorld.com has the coolest people. I get to meet alot of them on the road.

When are you going to be in Fort Worth?  I'm going to be in Dallas until the 28th.  Then the hubby and kids are going to make me go to to Wyoming.

It should be the last week of June. I may have to make some adjustments, I have to be in Detroit next week doing a truck with trailer shoot out on the new diesels and may be a little crowded on the World Paint Horse Show. I'll find out.
