I'm considering buying a new Shadow 4 horse 8ft lq trailer. I have never heard of this brand. Anyone have any experience with them? Service, durability, etc. They have some really horse friendly features, but I don't know anything about them!

I bought an '03 2H GN LQ this past Dec and have been happy with the trailer. I really like the latches on the doors (locking), and no leaks (which can be common with some other brands). I am aggravated that I have to slam the LQ and pass thru doors to get them to close - would like to get that fixed.
They're not a top of the line trailer, but they seem to be fairly well made and the price and layout were what I wanted.

I have a 3-H with 6'6" SW. I LOVE IT!!! I wish it had an 8' SW. I also have an Elite with 10' SW, I have considered selling both trailers and buying a Shadow that is 7'6" wide, 8' SW with mangers. Great Trailer!
I have the 2H SL with the 'plus package'. Am very pleased. Shadow donates 4 inch aluminum squares to the Cross Florida Greenway for our horse trail markers. They are building a brand new plant in Williston. Larry rides himself and uses his Shadow...good testament for a good trailer!

Hello...I just picked up my new SHADOW 2 horse 8.5 sw LQ with a slideout...OMG I love it, It has the stainless nose and extrued lower sides. They did a GREAT job High qulity through out top to bottom, windows and latches, doors, welds are heavy duty, unlike people were telling me...I traded my 2000 4 STAR and was concerned what I was getting (lower price) But it is as good as any "sundowned" if not better for thousands less then the "Big names"...They went over and above to get my trailer done in 30 days...than 25 at the LSR for inside..Thanks, DENNY @ Denny's TRAILER SALES MINNESOTA you worked your BUTT off to make me happy and get me a trailer and Shadow for going the extra mile.. Mary Malone Minnesota I'll post pictures if I can figure out how.

I looked at Shadow trailers. They looked really nice. But, I will never buy one. They wanted to charge me an extra $2K because I pull with a FL-60 instead of a pickup. I have no idea what that has to do with anything. Originally they priced me a 9 horse at $47K+ then decided to add the extra $2K on it because of my tow vehicle. I also asked for pricing on a 6 horse and it was $45K+.
