Hi- We just purchased a new Hawk Trailer (very excited!) The front unlad ramp cuts into the dressing room, so I'd like to add some shelves up high to store the spare tire and out of season blankets and such to add more floor space. How should one go about mounting shelves to a trailer? I'm not particularly good with construction, but I have access to knowledgable help. I know that in a house, you would find the studs and it is straightforward, but I ahev not tried to mout shelves on metal before. Any advice?

I don't know about shelves, but I took my trailer to a welder and had both my spare tires mounted to the sides of my trailer in front of the fenders.  That way there is one on each side and right where I will be needing it in case of a flat.  No trying to pull it out of the dressing room. (which is usually packed full of stuff)
