I saw one of these once. It fits on the top of the manure bucket and you put the shavings and manure in it. It lets the shavings fall down and the manure stay in. You end up with a muck bucket of shavings to reuse. Does anyone know where I can buy one?

I have not seen the exact configuration you are talking about.  However, I stumbled across this in a magazine that seems similar to what you want:

I watched the vidoe. I think moving the "machine" around is more work that picking the stalls.

I agree with that.  Plus having to use an extension cord!!  It seems like you could have the same set up made relatively cheap at a local metal shop.  I have thought about making one with my AG Mech. class and see how it works on our school farm.  I have a feeling that it might take a few times of tinkering with the spacing before we weld it all up sound and tight.

You can also buy expanded metal sheets at Lowes or Home Depot of a size to fit over your muck bucket and with holes large enough to work. Usually in the contractors section.

I saw something like what you are looking for at the NRHA Futurity in Oklahoma City in the beginning of December. It sifted out so the manure fell into the muck bucket and the shavings went back into the stall. I don't know what the name of the company was, but you could probably contact the NRHA and find out the names of the vendors that were there. Lisa in OK
