We just got a 3 horse slant after having a two horse trailer. When you haul just one horse in a 3 horse do you put the horse in the second slot so most of the weight is riding over the wheels? Let me know what is the best spot! Thanks!

Depends on if your tack is in the rear, front dressing room, etc. Load your trailer, then play around with the horse in each stall. Most likely it will be the middle, but put the horse there and then stand back to look at how level your trailer is compared to the truck. My horses haul well, and so if I am hauling one, I put him in the middle stall with the rear divider left open to give him some room to move his butt around. Barry

Our tack compartment is in the front. I'll put her in the middle and get out and check the level - thanks for the input! I had only used the second slot for one but a man asked me why I would do that and I will have a better answer now!
