I purchased my air bags from Camping World . Its been a while but I think they cost me around $ 350 on sale . I had them installed , however since then I helped a buddy install a set . Following the instructions they were fairly easy to install .
The price went up if a person wanted the air compressor . I went the cheap route , and use a air hose if I need more air .

As it has already been stated....there are 2 types....with compressor or without......should run you between $300 & $900.....any truck place carries them....Firestone is the #1 product on the market now....I would recommend having them installed that way if they screw up you have some recourse.....if you install & they screw up..it is user error.....OUCH!!........

I just purchased a 6H trailer that ways around 8500 to 10,000 lbs. empty. everyone tells me don't have enough truck to handle that kind of weight. I picked the trailer up a couple of days ago and it didn't seem to squat the truck over 3 inches.
I am not convinced I need them yet. My first horse show is this week end. I guess I will find out more then???

"T".........I wish I could have been there when you picked your trailer.....I would have told you then if you needed them.....If it only sat it down a couple of inches you are probably OK...wait till you pull it & see if it jerks the truck...if it does...you will need the bags.....GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!! You know how to get ahold of me.... BW

I think I may need air suspension for my F250 4x4. Does anyone have any recommendations? How much will these cost and how hard are they to install?
Thanks, ta
In round numbers, $250 for the basic kit - DIY install in an hour or two.
Add another $250 for the compressor and guage kit, but you will be faced with air hose routing and guage panel mounting issues. Not worth the money or installation hassle in IMAO. I still have an option on a free compressor and guage kit, but would have to patch up the dash for the current owner.
I got mine from suspensionconnection, reasonable people to deal with.
Whether you "need" them or not, I like having them. The ride is SO much nicer whether the truck is pulling or not, it REALLY takes the edges off those nasty joints along I-78 in PA.
Well, along almost ANY interstate in PA (-:
