Our water heater isnt staying lite for more than 3-4 minutes.Its new(to us 1999 Sundowner)trailer an is well cared for.My husband thinks we should just replace piece but should we just get whole new water heater???Advice please an Thanks Much

Most likely if the above suggestions are OK, The thermo-coupling is bad. It is easy to replace and cost about $20 at your local camping store.

Thanks for advice.Yes LP tanks on an both full.Not our first trailer with full living quarters either.Checked water lines.Etc etc etc an is staying lite few minutes if leave access door open 5.So we believe is coupler also.We do miss our old one that had up-grader water heater too.Thanks much for advice.
