OK, I have been all over the internet to find out either to buy one to install or to build one and have not had any luck.

Anyone have any info on these or have built one. I have found a few of the sofa/ sleepers, but really don't want to spend $600 or more on one

Hubby could build it if I could just find some one that knows where to start, maybe a photo.

Your name would indicate that you are in Indiana, I'm not a paid endorser of this company but RV Surplus in Elkhart will have over 100 Sofas that make a bed, Starting at $175 for jacknifes, up to $700 for leather covered J-Lounges. I buy mine up there they are Brand New, I get them cheap enough to have them recovered in Southwest material for less than just the sofa at an RV store.
