My 10yr old has recently picked up the habit of nibbling on anything within mouth's reach... reins, my boot when bending, my clothes...  How can I break this habit that is getting worse.  (I rarely feed treats out of hand)

thanks!

Simply put whenever he goes to do anything of the sort treat it the same way you would if he was actually biting you. If at all possible try not to allow him to do it in the first place. Also you could have his teeth checked but I would treat it just as seriously as if he was actually biting.
