An 8312 means 8 ft. wide, 3 horse, 12 ft. short wall. Bison, for the money is a decent trailer. If you buy one with a fiberglass roof, double check the seams. I have a 99 7308, which you should be able to figure out now is a 7 ft. wide, 3 horse, 8 ft. shortwall.

Re weights. Bison has 2 trailer lines, The Stratus is all alum. and the Alumasport is steel frame, alum. skin. That could account for the diff. in weights that you see listed.

I'm going to call.I want a all alum.No fiberglass roof etc.But some of the weights go from under just under5k to over 9k.Sometimes in the same line some times in differant lines.Much too big of a differance for basicly same size.living qtrs etc.I think whomever runs the ads or figures weights is WAY off.I don't like guessing at weight.I want to know DRY weights per unit etc. Then how much eack holding tank is capable of holding weight wise.
