I am really steering towards buying a couple of Tucker Saddles for my husband and myself. We have QH, and need the wide trees. Anyone have any input about them? I would love feedback from Tucker users!!!
TIA

My suggestion is to ride one before you by it.  My dad purchased one and I cannot ride it and get comfortable at any time.  It has alot of padding in the seat, but it hard for me to ride.  He has a 15.2 TWH and it fits the horse just fine.  There is a place in TN that will let you bring your horse to the store and try out the saddle before you purchase it.  That is my suggestion.

Thanks, there is a place in Southern Illinois too. They are near Shawnee, so I think we will shop there before our vacation starts next year. I love the feel of the soft seat and leather.
Thanks!

Had one, didn't particularly like it and sold it.  Can highly recommend Big Horn saddles.  They have models with the extra padded seat, quarter horse bars or full quarter horse bars and the 5" cantle.

Thanks Rose. I also like big horn, but I think Tucker has a little wider tree. My horse would be fine with Big horn, but my husbands horse is a tank! Thanks

I have a 21 year-old TN Walker.  She is 15.3 hands.  I have a Tucker saddle & also a Tex Tan saddle.  I would suggest that if you decide to get a Tucker see if you can find a good used one.  To buy a brand new one will set you back a few dollars.  Don't get me wrong, my Tucker is a nice saddle & is comfortable, but I probably ride my Tex Tan just as much if not more than my Tucker.  If you can find some nice used saddles, you might be able to save enough money & get 2 saddles for the price of what one brand new one costs.  Just something to think about while you are looking.

I have the Tucker Sierra Endurance saddle: http://www.tuckersaddles.com/endurance1.shtml

I have the Tex Tan Kotula saddle: http://textan.com/57.shtml

Hope this helps some.  Good luck & hope you find saddles that fit you & your horses.
